It always warms the heart to share Hot Pot with good company. My good friend borrowed me their Viltrox 85mm f/1.4 so it was only right that I used at the latest gathering with our group. I think 85mm might be my new favourite focal length due to the background compression and separation.

At the end of December, my wife got invited to Akatuki London to taste their Christmas Menu and create a short reel to post on Instagram. The course was delicious. I took this opportunity to play around with some food photography. I had to figure out ways around the limited lighting we had. This really pushed me to improve in post editing in Adobe Lightroom. Christmas is always a busy period for our family, but we will always do our best to get together and have a nice dinner together. Some snaps using the A7C II paired with the 24-70 GM ii. The f/2.8 aperture works really well in these dimmed lighting conditions.

My good friend Callum is our Dungeon Master and we all do our best to meet up 3 - 4 times a year to continue our campaign. It is always difficult to get everyone together with our busy lives. My wife had the responsibility to host the baby shower for our good friend. She did an amazing job organising so many fun things to for our guests.
